Installer Partnership Inquiries

The Residential Distributed Energy Program maintains a network of approved regional installers who perform program-related installations across active Texas regions. Installers in the network are vetted against program-defined licensing, insurance, and quality-assurance standards prior to inclusion.

01

Current Network Status

The program's installer network in Texas is currently near or at capacity in most active regions, with limited availability for new installer additions. Qualified installers interested in future consideration may submit an initial inquiry using the form below. Inquiries are reviewed as capacity for additional installers becomes available in specific regions.

02

Program Standards

Approved installers in the program's network must meet the following categories of standards:

Licensing

Current state and local licensing appropriate to the installer's service scope, including any specialty licenses required for the work performed.

Insurance

General liability insurance meeting or exceeding the program's minimum thresholds, workers' compensation coverage as required by Texas law, and any specialty coverage required for the work performed.

Quality assurance

Documented processes for pre-installation inspection, installation quality control, post-installation verification, and correction of any issues identified through program-conducted quality audits.

Communication standards

Compliance with program-defined communication timelines with residences and program staff throughout the installation process.

Operational capacity

Demonstrated capacity to fulfill program-scheduled installations within program-defined timelines, including capacity to scale with regional program growth.

Installers not meeting or maintaining these standards are subject to review, corrective action, or removal from the approved network.
